The Admission and Student Support Officer plays a pivotal role in managing the student admission process and ensuring exceptional support for prospective and enrolled students. This role involves coordinating admissions, addressing inquiries, and supporting students throughout their academic journey, contributing to a positive student experience. Key Responsibilities: Admissions Coordination: Manage and process student applications, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures. Provide detailed information about admission criteria, course offerings, and application timelines to prospective students and their families. Organize and participate in admission-related events such as open houses, orientation sessions, and webinars. Maintain accurate records of admissions data and prepare regular reports for management. Student Support: Serve as the first point of contact for student inquiries, addressing concerns related to admissions, enrollment, and general academic life. Guide students through enrollment, including documentation, fee payments, and course registrations. Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to resolve student issues promptly. Provide advice on-campus facilities, services, and extracurricular opportunities. Foster positive relationships with students by offering timely and efficient assistance. Handle complaints or escalations empathetically and in alignment with institutional policies. Maintain high standards of professionalism in all communication channels, including email, phone, and face-to-face interactions. Administrative Support: Manage student databases, ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of records. Develop and update admission and support-related materials, including brochures, FAQs, and website content. Assist with visa and compliance requirements for international students, if applicable.
